How It Works
For every friend or group you invite you get a new local Talkster number and your friend gets a local number in their country too. You both get sent these numbers by SMS but if your friend is not on a mobile phone, you’ll need to tell them the number.
1. To make a call, enter your name and number, and your friend’s name and number. As soon as you click on the “Invite”button, Talkster will invite your friend and send you both an SMS with your local Talkster numbers for each other. If you want to invite more than one person into the call, click on the link to add someone else, and you will be able to add up to 5 friends for a group call!
2.Talkster gives you a local number for your friend or group of friends, no matter where in the world they are. You call the local number whenever you want to speak to them.
3.TIP: Save the number in your phone's address book. Next time youwant to call them it's as simple as dialing the local number and saying "Call me back on Talkster!"
If you’re calling one friend:
1.Talkster dials your friend
2.When your friend answers, tell them to call the number in the SMS they were sent or look at the number on their screen. Tell them to hang up and call youright back on that number.
3.You hang on -don’t hang up! Your friend hangs up and dials back, using the Talkster number.
4.You are connected and begin talking!
If you’re calling a group:
1.You call your Talkster number for this group and record a message that your friends will hear
2.You hang on -don’t hang up!
3.Your friends’phones ring and they hear the message
4.They dial in using the Talkster number they have received by SMSor the number they see on their phone screen
5.You are all joined together and begin talking
